Congratulations to the gorgeous Julia McLean for becoming the very first Australian Star in a Bra. The 19 year old law and business student saw off the other four finalists in the public vote to claim the prize which includes a modelling contract and – most importantly – a trip to the UK to star in the next Curvy Kate catalogue.

Writing on Curvy Kate Australia’s Facebook page, Julia said:

“It has been such an amazing opportunity and I know that each of the entrants and finalists will take with them so much from this experience. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the Curvy Kate team and be an ambassador for the brand… Well done Mariko, Anna, Lydia and Bec. It was wonderful to meet such beautiful, like-minded women and I wish you all the very best. I know that any one of you would’ve done us all proud. I only hope that I can do the same…”
